1. Acceptance of Membership Terms

By requesting to join or joining any ORSA or ORSA affiliated programs or by using any of our facilities, you agree that membership is granted at the sole discretion of ORSA executives. Furthermore, by requesting or accepting membership you accept the following Terms of Services and agree to be bound by them.

2. Code of Conduct

All members, guest any persons attending any ORSA affiliated programs or facility are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Members, guests and all persons attending agree to conduct themselves in accordance with our published Code of Conduct.

3. Facility Access and Rules

All Members, guests and persons attending any ORSA or ORSA affiliated programs:

• Are responsible for adhering to the scheduled facilities access times.
• Must help setup and take down the badminton nets and poles.
• Must keep the facilities clean and tidy.
• Must respect the equipment and return it to its proper place.
• Must Notify club staff of any issues or maintenance needs.
• Must comply with all rules and regulations posted in the facility and/or on the property, and with all directions given by John McCrae School and/or Woodroffe School representatives.
• Shall only have access to the gymnasium, male & female change rooms, and washrooms.
• Must not enter the gymnasium in shoes that have been worn outside. The use of shoes marking the surfaces is strictly prohibited.

4. Membership Termination

ORSA reserves the right to terminate or suspend membership if a member is found to be in violation of any part of these Terms of Service or engages in behavior against our code of conduct. No refunds will be provided for terminated memberships.

5. Liability

Members participate in all activities at their own risk. Any ORSA affiliated programs will not be liable for any injuries or damages incurred while using the club's facilities or participating in club activities.

6. Changes to Terms

ORSA may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the club's facilities will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Each Guarantor hereby irrevocably attorns to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

8. Waiver and Release of Liability

By participating in any ORSA program, event, and activity, you acknowledge and assume all risks, dangers, and hazards, including but not limited to negligence of other participants and the organization. You agree to release, waive, and hold harmless ORSA, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, damages, or losses, including those resulting from negligence, breach of contract, or statutory duties.

9. Indemnity Agreement

You agree to indemnify and hold ORSA harmless from any legal claims, expenses, and liabilities incurred due to your participation in club activities. You also acknowledge that if any term in this waiver is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

10. Acknowledgment

By continuing with your membership and participation in any ORSA affiliated activity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined above. If you do not accept these terms, you may not participate.
